“Kalceks” successfully participated in the international exhibition “CPhI Worldwide 2015” drawing attention of new partners to injection drug forms

From 13th to 15th of October, 2015, “Kalceks” participated in the leading pharmaceutical exhibition “CPhI Worldwide 2015” in Madrid, Spain. 

During the exhibition “Kalceks” representatives discussed cooperation opportunities with their business partners, while potential cooperation partners were introduced to products and services of company. “Kalceks” and its mother company “Grindeks” joint exhibition stand was placed in the Hall 10 with number 10G41.

“Kalceks” have promoted cooperation in the research, development, manufacturing, as well as sales and out-licensing of sterile generics medication.

By participating in the exhibition the company plans to expand its business activities in new markets. “Kalceks” mainly specializes in CNS medication therapeutic group including products for anaesthesia and analgesia in hospital segment.

One of «Kalceks» strategically product is dexmedetomidine hydrochloride that is being manufactured within holding structure as active pharmaceutical ingredient as well as introduction of final dosage form – solution for injection – is in progress.

In general, exactly to solutions for injections was drawed special attention of hundreds of potential cooperation partners, taking into account that according to most countries’ law it is not necessary to perform bioequivalence studies for this drug form, as a result faster entrance to market is ensured comparing to other drug forms.

“CPhI Worldwide” is the world's most important pharmaceutical exhibition, which, in 2015, was held for the 26th time and gathered pharmaceutical product manufacturers and related industry representatives from all over the world.

The participation of «Kalceks» and its mother company “Grindeks” in “CPhI Worldwide 2015” was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
